1. Nature of the Platform
Miss Diamond NZ is a personal development and pageant platform, not an employment or talent agency.
Participation does not guarantee:
Employment
Media contracts
Sponsorship deals
Financial return
2. Participant Responsibility
Participants agree to:
Act professionally at all times
Represent themselves and the brand respectfully
Follow event guidelines and direction
Failure = removal without refund.
3. Fees & Financial Transparency
Fees are clearly communicated prior to commitment
Payments contribute to event delivery, operations, and opportunities
Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable
4. Sponsorship & Partnerships
Miss Diamond NZ may engage sponsors and partners.
However:
Participation does not guarantee individual sponsorship
Sponsor benefits are allocated at the organisation’s discretion
5. Media & Reputation Protection Clause (VERY IMPORTANT)
Participants must not:
Make false or misleading public statements
Damage the reputation of the organisation, sponsors, or partners
Misrepresent their involvement
Such actions could result in immediate removal from the Pageant without a refund.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law:
Miss Diamond NZ is not liable for:
Personal, financial, or reputational outcomes
Missed opportunities or expectations
Third-party actions (sponsors, media, partners)
7. Event Changes
We reserve the right to:
Change venues, schedules, or formats
Adjust program structure
Postpone or cancel events if required
8. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will be handled:
In good faith discussion
Through mediation if required
Under New Zealand law
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
